Welcome to Tufton Plants and the Smallholding

Here on the edge of Whitchurch, Tufton Plants started out with a tunnel and greenhouse for the nursery business. Now with 16 acres, we have gradually added sheep, chickens, pigs and ducks to the smallholding.

Through mainly Farmers' Markets and plant fairs, Tufton Plants provides a wide selection of perennials, shrubs, flowering bulbs, climbers, grasses and vegetable plants.

Tufton Smallholding produces wool spun from our own Shetland sheep, including sheepskins and fleeces. We also produce homemade preserves, chutneys and vegetables.

Our free-range eggs are available at the farm gate and at markets.
